Works with:
Send Renters the Link
After a renter books, send them your personal attestation link so they can complete the FWC safety briefing before arriving at the dock.
Find your personal link on the Dashboard → New Attestation button — share it via text, email, or booking confirmation.
Quick Dockside Check
When the renter arrives, your instructor completes the final sign-off on their device — takes about 3 minutes.
Dockside Checklist (~3 min)
Any authorized team member can complete the sign-off — add staff under Dashboard → Team Members. Walk-up renters? Use the QR code at the dock to skip the pre-arrival step.
Open Instructor Sign-off →You're All Set!
The renter gets their official FWC certificate, and you have a digital record for compliance.
Common Questions
What if a renter doesn't complete it beforehand?
They can complete it on-site using their phone. It takes about 10-15 minutes. You can also have a tablet available for them to use.
Can returning renters skip the video?
If they have a valid BoatPassport badge from a previous rental, they can verify their status instead of repeating the full process.
Is this accepted by FWC?
Yes! We use the official FWCDLE_313 form and comply with Rule 68D-34.002. Digital signatures are legally valid in Florida.
Do I need to upload my own safety video?
You can use our standard FWC-compliant video, or contact us about using your own branded video (Pro/Enterprise plans).
